As we welcome the new year at Baoase Luxury Resort, our hearts are filled with gratitude and pride for our community. For the second consecutive year, we’re thrilled to announce a substantial donation of USD 50,000 to Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) Curaçao.

Our annual Crab Race, a beloved tradition on the 1st of January, has become a symbol of joy, generosity, and community spirit. This year was no exception, with over 100 crabs sold, raising nearly USD 6,000. These funds, a testament to the enthusiasm of our cherished guests, will go towards supporting RMHC Curaçao’s invaluable work.

To further contribute, our Managing Director, Thijs van der Valk, orchestrated auctions featuring some of our resort’s exclusive experiences, such as a Full Day Boat Trip and a stay in a Beachfront Pool Suite. The response was overwhelming, with guests seizing the opportunity to not only enjoy unforgettable moments but also make a difference.

The van der Valk family, always at the forefront of our commitment to philanthropy, added their generosity to the mix, making a significant contribution. Inspired by their example, other families staying at Baoase joined this meaningful cause, collectively reaching an incredible donation milestone of USD 50,000.
